Vintage Lakers
Okay, okay, okay....you caught me again...little late on the bloggage...but serie...only like ten people get their left-to-right on so no big. Gotta keep the faithful happy...that's what Dayton Moore says...I wish...this is going to be a catchup blog with a brief rant about Yost just to catch you up to everything up until last thursday, as is my usual customary weekly blog, I'll try and beef you up on everything this thursday pre-nba draftage.
Hot Tub Time Machine Beer of the Week:
Loom, didn't you go to the St Louis Heritage Beer Festival!? I'm sure one of those goodies got a free pass for beer of the week. Yes, I had approximately four good beers there. By good, I obviously mean above average enough to mention so roughly a 7.5/10. I did, however, rock the Bridge Taphouse and thouroughly enjoy a Maharaja by Avery Brewing Co. I do like their IPA...but this is like whoa. If you're ever in there check it on draft. It's pretty Lake Superior.
Delorean Jam of The Week:
Young Forever by Jay-Z (Feat. Mr Hudson) Mad props to MTVU for playing this. Yes, I have fallen into old habbits and turn to that when nothing is on. Whatev, the music vid is borderline stinsfire...but the song is spicy. Spicy than the Colonel's wanna be hot sauce and "Cajun style" Chicken.
Bill & Ted Game of the Week:
I ordered World Cup 2010 for 360. I was not disappointed. My favorite teams when I was a kid were USA and France. France is terrible now and USA is semi-good. The sounds and graphics are pretty McRib. Remember when Homer followed the McRib around and skipped out on Lisa's spelling bee? Wonder if it was worth it....I love McRibs. I wish they had the 12th Street Diner's Fries.
I cannot stand the Kendall in the two-hole batting order. It is absolutely rediculous. I am all for guys trying new things. This is a catastrophe. I hate it. Put Aviles back up there and sink Kendall. He has no power or speed and contact hitting that high gets you virtually nowhere. The dude averages 5 hr's a year. Either put Aviles back up and leave everything the way it is or bump DDJ into the twohole and B-Butt back up to the threespot. Guillen is increasing trade value so you may as well feature him in the cleanup...hopefully this will make us see some Hawaiian Punch or Gordo action after the trade deadline. September seems so far away....
By the way...how sweet was it for the Lakers to repeat!?!?
